About
I’m a doctoral student at Michigan State University. I have always been fascinated by how people learn, grow, and change. I take a developmental approach to researching issues in American higher education. As a developmentalist, I explore how relationships, between people and in the mind, are alive and changing; I have come to believe that developmental change occurs through everyday communication. Therefore, my research explores how changing forms of social interaction affect human learning and development. I use this approach to research two main areas in the field of higher education: the changing professoriate and intercultural learning in undergraduate education.
