About
I am a graduate student at MSU anthropology department. i am looking at secular Jewish culture in Israel. I am interested in the creation of culture or the process of cultural change, specifically looking at creation processes in locations of hybridization or the in-between. As part of this interest I am interested in the formation of social groups, group identities and identification. Resulting from my interest in identity and identification, are issues relating to authenticity, self-other, and subjectivity.
