About

My dissertation is a comparative study that spans two continents to investigate the intersections of worker rights and citizenship rights in the small mining towns of Clifton-Morenci, Arizona and Kimberley, South Africa. This study of intellectual working class history provides historians with a new way of understanding how workers mobilize outside of traditional labor unions.
